This summer we were invited to use the services of Purple Parking for our vacation to the United States. We were traveling for 10 days and as we were 4 people we were happy to accept and test it for our readers. On previous holidays we usually order a pre-booked taxi service to the airport, this was also a new experience for us.
Instant Confirmation
Immediately upon making the booking, entering our Vehicle Registration, Flight Dates and Arrival and Departure times we were instantly emailed the booking confirmation. The website is easy to use and navigate and offers all the different parking options at Manchester Airport.
No Ticket Required
The most surprising aspect of the service was that even though we were parking in the Official Manchester Airport terminal 3 location we were given no ticket. The system automatically recognised our car and the barriers to the parking opened up. We then subsequently parked the car and got the shuttle bus for a few minutes to the terminal building. On our return we completed the same process, driving to the barriers for them to open instantly upon recognition with no ticket requirement.
Five Star Service
Overall this is a great service and one in which we will be sure to use again in the future. As we live in North Manchester, the journey costs around £50 return with this being considerably more expensive for people outside of the city. We were happy to arrive knowing that we didn’t have to wait for a taxi or find our pre-booked service, we went immediately from the Arrival Hall to the car and driving away within 30 minutes of landing.
